Abstract:
A garment connector is provided with a soft material layer (71). The garment connector may be a garment connector (21) formed as an eye tape. At least one garment connector comprises a first side surface provided with a connecting structure, a second side surface, a pair of side hems provided oppositely, and a bottom hem. The soft material layer (71) covers the second side surface of the garment connector, the side hems, the bottom hem and the peripheral portion of the first side surface adjacent to the side hems and the bottom hem. A method for manufacturing the garment connector comprises the following steps: 1) providing at least one garment connector provided with a first side surface and a second side surface, disposing the connecting structure on the first side surface and then covering the first side surface with a soft material layer (71); 2) joining the soft material layer (71) with a part of the garment connector's edges to make a cavity space between the soft material layer (71) and the first side surface of the garment connector; 3) turning over the soft material layer (71) to make the first side surface provided with the connecting structure exposed to outside, to make the second side surface located in the interior of the soft material layer (71) and to make the second side surface and the side edges of the garment connector covered by the soft material layer (71).
