Abstract:
A gas balance safety switch includes a stove using gas, a switch (20) provided on the stove for opening or closing gas supply, a thermocouple (30) arranged near the port (11) of the stove and a balance safety switch (40). Said balance safety switch (40) is connected with the switch (20) and the thermocouple (30) in series via electrical wires. And said switch (20), the thermocouple (30) and the balance safety switch (40) are arranged within the stove. The balance safety switch (40) includes a mass ball (41) which presses a microswitch actuating lever (431) by means of its own weight so as to make the balance safety switch (40) on, a conical space (42) and a microswitch (43). The microswitch (43) is arranged at the lowest portion of the conical space (42), and the actuating lever (431) of the microswitch (43) is inserted the through hole (421) provided at the bottom of the conical space (42). The mass ball (41) is positioned inside the conical space (42). The prevent invention uses the induced current produced by the thermocouple and doesn't need the additional battery or power source. The actuation can be achieved only by an extremely small current produced by the thermal induction and doesn't need mercury any more.
