Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a gas barrier film that has excellent gas barrier properties and flexibility, and for which a decrease in adhesion between layers and a decrease in optical characteristics are suppressed particularly under high humidity conditions. A gas barrier film having in this sequence at least: a base layer that includes at least a flexible base; an undercoat layer; and an inorganic thin film layer, wherein with the gas barrier film, water vapor permeability of the gas barrier film at 23°C, 50%RH is 0.001 g/m2/day or less, and for the outermost surface of the inorganic thin film layer side of the gas barrier film, the durability count N measured by performing a steel wool test using #0000 No. steel wool under conditions of load 50 gf/cm2, speed 60 rpm/min., and one way distance 3 cm satisfies expression (1): N ≤ 200 (1).
