Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a gas barrier film. This gas barrier film is provided with at least a film base material containing a polyester resin having a butylene terephthalate unit as a main constituent unit, and one or more of metal oxide layers, wherein the heat shrinkage rate, in the machine direction (MD), represented by the equation of the gas barrier film after being heated at 150°C for 30 minutes is not less than 0.6% but less than 3.0%. Heat shrinkage rate = (length before heating - length after heating) / length before heating × 100 (%)
