Abstract:
Provided is a gas burning type driving tool, in which a movable sleeve (10) formed
in the upper portion of an impact cylinder (5) is vertically moved into and out
of abutment against a cylinder head (8), thereby to open/close a combustion chamber
(9). When a mixed gas in the combustion chamber (9) is ignited and explosively
burned, a high gas pressure drives an impact piston (6) shockingly. When the impact
piston (6) is driven, a driver (7) jointed to the lower face side of the impact piston
(6) drives out a fastener from a nose portion (4) formed at the lower portion of
the tool body. The driving tool includes a partition portion (16) for partitioning
the impact cylinder (5) and the combustion chamber (9), and a valve mechanism
for opening/closing the partition portion (16). This valve mechanism is opened
when the impact piston (6) drives and returns after it drove the fastener.
