Abstract:
This gas compressor comprises: a low-pressure gas path that guides compressed gas discharged from a low-pressure stage compressor body to a high-pressure stage compressor body; a first low-pressure relief valve provided to a first low-pressure branch path that branches from a low-pressure gas path; a high-pressure gas path that guides compressed gas discharged from the high-pressure stage compressor body to a demand destination; a first high-pressure relief valve provided to a first high-pressure branch path that branches from the high-pressure gas path; and a control device. The first low-pressure branch path is provided downstream of a heat exchanger for low-pressure stage heat recovery. The first high-pressure branch path is provided downstream of a heat exchanger for high-pressure stage heat recovery. The control device opens the first low-pressure relief valve and the first high-pressure relief valve when switching from a load operation to a no-load operation.
