The invention relates to a gas-controlling device of a small gas engine for such as assistant vehicle, motorcycle and so on. The device mainly includes a pressure release pressure-stabilizing valve, a vacuum-operated valve and a valve for synchronistically controlling the choke valve and the gas-venting needle, and is provided with an idle screw for adjusting the amount of air and an idle screw for adjusting the amount of combustible gas. Compared with the prior art, the gas-controlling device of the present invention has the following improvement that the pressure release pressure-stabilizing valve is located on the side portion thereof, the vacuum-operated valve is on the lower portion thereof, the central hole of the baffle spacer and the valve core of the vacuum-operated valve have the same centerline, the section of the intake passage is in the form of rectangle, and the idle hole for adjusting the amount of air and the air port of cold-start valve are provided in the air suction inlet, so that the performance and reliability of the device are improved ,the exhaust pollution from engine is reduced ,the environment is protected and the energy sources are disposed reasonably.
