Abstract:
A gas cylinder valve comprises a valve body (1). The valve body (1) has a gas inlet, a gas outlet (11), and a valve port (12) by means of which the gas inlet and the gas outlet (11) communicate. A first spring (2) and a spool portion capable of moving axially along the valve body (1) are disposed in the valve body (1). The first spring (2) provides a force enabling the spool portion to move away from the valve port (12). When gas enters the gas inlet, the gas overcomes the first spring (2) to push the spool portion to move towards the valve port (12) to block the valve port (12). A laterally slidable stopping portion connected to the valve body (1) is further disposed in the valve body (1). When the stopping portion is controlled to be in a protruding position, the stopping portion interferes with the spool portion in an axial direction to limit movement of the spool portion towards the valve port (12). The gas cylinder valve of the invention works in conjunction with a prior art gas charging gun to eliminate the reuse of old gas cylinders and eliminate gas charging performed at unauthorized sites, maximally ensuring personal and property safety of a user.
