Abstract:
A gas delivery system (100a) for delivering a given gas into a body cavity is equipped with: an overtube (3) which is intended to be inserted into a gastrointestinal lumen (4) and serves as a first induction tube for delivering a feed gas into the gastrointestinal lumen (4); and an insert part (2a) of a digestive endoscope (2), which is provided in the overtube (3) and serves as a second induction tube for delivering the feed gas into the gastrointestinal lumen (4) at a flow rate that is different from that in the overtube (3).
