Abstract:
The present invention relates to a gas-detecting system and gas-detecting method using a smartphone. The present invention includes: a sensor module attached to a smartphone for detecting and measuring flammable gases or poisonous gases; and a gas-detecting app installed in the smartphone, wherein a contact part arranged in the smartphone and having a built-in RFID reader or near-field communication (NFC) reader is used to read a tag providing RFID or NFC information on the user or position thereof for the purpose of gas detection, thereby driving the sensor module to detect flammable gases or poisonous gases after automatically recognizing the user information and position information, and acquiring measurement data through the measurement of the detected flammable gases or poisonous gases. The smartphone transmits the user information, the position information, and the measurement data acquired by the gas-detecting app to a management server through a communication network. Accordingly, the invention provides the effect of being able to obtain reliable data on the position of the user during gas measurement, the detected results, and the like. Also, by using the detachable sensor module and the application, the invention can provide the effect of being able to resolve various problems arising from human control, or from the user making an incorrect input, during user verification-based input, wherein the user is the detecting agent. In addition, the invention provides the effect of enabling the processing of specialized data on flammable gases or poisonous gases through the transmission of the measurement data taken from the sensor module performing gas detection.
