Abstract:
This gas detection method includes: (a) a step in which a gas sensor (10) that is exposed to a sample gas containing a detection-target gas and a non-detection-target gas other than the detection-target gas is repeatedly heated and not heated in a first period; (b) a step in which a gas adsorption/desorption signal which is output from the gas sensor (10) and in which a detection-target gas adsorption/desorption signal corresponding to the detection-target gas and a non-detection-target gas adsorption/desorption signal corresponding to the non-detection-target gas are superimposed is acquired; and a step (c) in which a multiplier (26) is used to multiply the gas adsorption/desorption signal acquired in step (b) by a reference signal that rises and falls repeatedly with a fixed period.
