Abstract:
For the manufacture of a PDP (10) by superposing up a front plate (16) on a rear plate (18), a sheet member (20) comprising an X−wiring layer (36) and a Y−wiring layer (40) is fixed on the front plate (16) or rear plate (18), so that the X electrode (46) and Y electrode (48) are provided in a discharge space (24). Thus, only disposing the sheet member (20) between the front plate (16) and rear plate (18) provides the X electrode (46) and Y electrode (48). Therefore, this manufacturing method provides the PDP (10) with a preferable suppression of strains such as in the front plate (16), rear plate (18), and electrodes (46, 48).
