Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/187277
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Electric power is supplied from a battery module (3) to a motor for the travel of a vehicle, the battery module (3) being located within a battery cover (1) disposed within the vehicle interior. A heavy current cable (7) is formed by covering an electric wire (13) with a mesh (21) and a hose (19), and an end (19d) of the hose (19) is located in the electric wire lead-out hole (9a) in a dash panel (9). The mesh (21) constitutes a grounding member (17). Gas generated within the battery cover (1) passes through a through-hole (1a) in the battery cover (1) and through gaps in the mesh (21) on the inside of the hose (19) and is discharged from an opening (37) at the end (19d) of the hose (19) into the engine compartment (11) located outside the vehicle interior.
