Abstract:
A gas engine (1), comprising a fuel feed system (5) having a transformer (57) using the heat of exhaust gas as a heat source, a waste heat boiler (52) using the heat of the exhaust gas as the heat source, and a hydrogen separator (56) for separatingly extracting hydrogen from the fuel, wherein hydrogen and carbon dioxide gas are allowed to cause a transformation reaction (H¿2? + CO¿2? → CO + H¿2?O) in the transformer (57) to change a fuel composition, and the compositionally changed fuel is fed to a combustion chamber, steam is generated by the waste heat boiler (52), and the steam is fed to the fuel feed system, and the fuel after separatingly extracting hydrogen therefrom is fed to the combustion chamber by a hydrogen separator (56).
