Abstract:
A gas generating agent used for a gas generator having a function to automatically ignite before the mechanical strength of the container of the gas generator is remarkably lowered under high temperature caused by the exposure of the container to an flame, characterized in that, when the relation between heat and weight is measured by using an apparatus for measuring the heat and weight simultaneously, the process of start to end of weight reduction occurs in the temperature range of 50 ° C or higher at a temperature rise rate of 5 ° C/minute and, when the relation between the heat and weight is measured by using the apparatus for measuring the heat and weight simultaneously, a curve showing the ratio of a weight reduction to a temperature rise has two or more inflection points; the gas generator having the gas generating agent filled therein.
