Abstract:
A gas generator has a reaction liquid and a catalyst body in its reaction chamber, with the catalyst body facing to the reaction liquid. At least one of the reaction chamber and the catalyst body is a flexible body. When the reaction liquid contacts with the catalyst body, it generates a reaction gas. The reaction gas pressure deforms the flexible body to realize an autocontrol of the reaction gas pressure. When the reaction gas pressure is lower, the deformation of the flexible body increases the contact area of the reaction liquid and the catalyst body to accelerate the generation of the reaction gas. When the reaction gas pressure is higher, the deformation of the flexible body decreases the contact area of the reaction liquid and the catalyst body to decelerate, even to stop the generation of the reaction gas.
