Abstract:
In a gas holder according to the present invention which has a vertically movable T fender between a piston and a side plate of a holder main body, sudden pressure fluctuations of a gas pressure in a gas storage space are avoided when the piston and the T fender are coupled to or separated from each other. A gas holder (1) comprises: a holder main body (2) having a hollow portion (2X) to/from which a gas flows; a piston (10) which is received in the hollow portion of the holder main body and which vertically moves in accordance with the inflow and outflow of the gas; and a sealing device (20) hermetically sealing a space between the holder main body and the piston and defining a gas storage space (GS) for storing a gas together with the piston. The sealing device (20) is provided with: a T fender (21) which is provided so as to surround the side rim of the piston and which vertically moves in connection with the piston; and a damping device (30) which is provided between the piston and the T fender and which damps a force applied to the T fender from the piston.
