Abstract:
Provided is a gas insulated busbar equipped with: a metal container (1a) that has an axis (3a) as the axis thereof; a main circuit conductor (20a) that is housed within the metal container (1a); a metal container (1b) that is connected to an end section (52) of the metal container (1a), and that has an axis (3b) that intersects with the axis (3a) as the axis thereof; a main circuit conductor (20b) that is housed within the metal container (1b); a single-leg structured insulation spacer (55) that supports the connection section of the main circuit conductor (20a) and the main circuit conductor (20b) in insulated state; and a roughly barrel-shaped or roughly spindle-shaped metal shield (33) that is mounted on the insulation spacer (55), has an opening section (70) facing towards the axis (3a) and an opening section (71) facing towards the axis (3b) formed thereon, covers the connection section, and that has an outer diameter greater than that of the main circuit conductors (20a, 20b).
