Abstract:

A gas-insulated switchgear uses cables at both the entrance and the exit to connect a switchgear main circuit and an external main circuit. A circuit breaker (1) and connection conductors (29, 31) of the switchgear together with an insulating gas are stored in a box-shaped pressure tank (2). An operation mechanism (3) for opening and closing the circuit breaker (1) and a first cable connection section (13) connected to the connection conductors (29, 31) are mounted on one surface of the pressure tank. A second cable connection section (14) connected to the connection conductors (29, 31) is mounted on another surface of the pressure tank (2) that is parallel to the direction connecting the operation mechanism (3) and the circuit breaker (1).
