Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a gas-insulated switchgear such that even in the event of an internal arc fault, the scope of the fault can be minimized. The gas-insulated switchgear (50) is equipped with: a cable chamber (1) in which power cables (2) are housed; a circuit breaker chamber (8) which is disposed above the cable chamber (1) and in which a circuit breaker (9) is mounted; a bus chamber (12) which is disposed above the circuit breaker chamber (8) and in which buses (11) are mounted; and pressure-release plates (5, 6a, 6b) which are disposed on the upper or back side of the cable chamber (1), the circuit breaker chamber (8), and the bus chamber (12), respectively, wherein a pressure-release duct (7), through which high-temperature high-pressure gas (16) discharged through the respective pressure-release plates (5, 6a, 6b) is led to the outside when the pressures in the circuit breaker chamber (8), the bus chamber (12), and the cable chamber (1) have risen, is shared by the circuit breaker chamber (8), the bus chamber (12), and the cable chamber (1).
