Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a gas insulated switching apparatus wherein surge voltage to be induced by a current transformer can be inhibited with a simple structure. The current transformer (5) is mounted on an outer circumference face of a cylindrical section (24) of a current-transformer supporting frame (4). A gap (20) is formed between the front tip section of the cylindrical section (24) and an adapter member (11), and around the whole circumference with a conductor (2) as the center thereof. A partition section (12), which is composed of a cylindrical metal member having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical section (24), which is arranged so as to encircle the whole circumference of the gap (20), and which is superimposed with a portion of the cylindrical section (24) in the center axis direction, is formed on the adapter member (11).
