Abstract:
A gas insulation apparatus 1 is provided with: a metal tank 2, which is grounded, and in which an insulating gas is sealed; a conductor 3, which is disposed in the tank 2, and to which a voltage is applied; a nonlinear resistance layer 4, which is disposed at least on a part of an inner surface of the tank 2, and which is formed of an insulating material containing a nonlinear resistance material; and an insulating layer 5 disposed on the nonlinear resistance layer 4. Consequently, floating of a metallic foreign material 6 in an electric field can be suppressed.
