Title:
GAS INTERRUPTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/084780
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a gas interrupting device which prevents the unauthorized acquisition of a gas or unauthorized use of a gas interrupting device, for example, when the device is stolen.  When a predetermined number of events occur, the gas supply is interrupted by an interruption means (39), wherein the events consist of the conditions that the gas pressure measured by a pressure measuring means (32) is below a first predetermined pressure value after a predetermined operation has been performed by a business operator, etc., during installation; if the gas pressure remains at this level for more than a first predetermined period of time, the gas pressure is above a second predetermined pressure value; and the gas pressure remains at this level for more than a second predetermined period of time.  The interruption is transmitted to the outside by an external communication means (34) to thereby make it impossible to restore the gas supply by a restoration means (38).  Once the gas supply is interrupted, the restoration is made possible through a predetermined operation by a business operator or through an input response from the outside with which a business operator communicates through a predetermined operation.
