This gas-liquid separator (27) is provided with: a tank part (41) which stores a refrigerant and separates gas-phase refrigerant and liquid-phase refrigerant; and a pipe connection part (42) which is provided to an upper part of the tank part (41), and which forms outlet/inlet ports for the refrigerant from the tank part (41). The pipe connection part (42) is provided with: a first connection part (42e) having, connected thereto, a first connection pipe (31) which guides the refrigerant to an expansion valve (25); a second connection part (42f) having, connected thereto, a second connection pipe (32) through which the refrigerant that has passed through a cooling heat exchanger (23) returns; a third connection part (42g) having, connected thereto, a third connection pipe (33) which guides the refrigerant to a compressor (21); a fourth connection part (42h) having, connected thereto, a fourth connection pipe (34) which guides the refrigerant into the tank part (41) from an outdoor heat exchanger (22); and a first flow path switching valve (28) which allows the inside of the tank part (41) to communicate with the third connection pipe (33) during heating operations, and allows the second connection pipe (32) to communicate with the third connection pipe (33) during cooling operations.
