Abstract:
According to the present invention, a gas meter that is to be provided at each of a plurality of user residences comprises an acceleration sensor that detects acceleration, a control device, and a battery that supplies power to the acceleration sensor and the control device. The control device transitions from a normal mode to one or more computation modes in which power consumption at the battery is greater than in the normal mode on the basis of the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor and outputs a warning signal when an integrated value for a value related to power consumption has exceeded a preset assumed integrated value.
