Abstract:
A gas meter of the present invention is provided with: a meter main body (11a) having an internal space (19); a meter inlet (12) through which a fluid flows in; a meter outlet (16) through which the fluid flows out; and a blocking plate (13) disposed at a predetermined distance from an opening of the meter inlet (12). The gas meter is also provided with: a flow rate measuring unit (14) that detects the flow rate of the fluid; and a connecting member (15) that connects the meter outlet (16) and an outlet (20b) of the flow rate measuring unit (14) to each other. Furthermore, the meter inlet (12), the blocking plate (13), the flow rate measuring unit (14), the connecting member (15), and the meter outlet (16) are linearly disposed in this order.
