Abstract:
A gas meter according to the present invention is installed at each of a plurality of electricity customer buildings, and comprises: an acceleration sensor that detects acceleration; and a control device. If the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor is greater than or equal to a threshold, the control device shifts from a normal mode to a computation mode in which power consumption as measured by the gas meter is greater than in the normal mode, and changes the threshold in accordance with prescribed information.
