Abstract:
This gas meter comprises: a flow rate measuring unit (11) for measuring the flow rate of a gas; a storage unit (14) for storing prescribed data, excluding a meter reading value, among data calculated on the basis of the flow rate measured by the flow rate measuring unit (11); and a communication unit (18) for transmitting the data stored in the storage unit (14) to an external device (20). The storage unit (14) sequentially stores predetermined data on the basis of the occurrence of a predetermined event, and the communication unit (18) transmits the data stored in the storage unit (14) to the external device (20) at a predetermined timing.
