Abstract:
A gas oil composition containing at least 20 vol.% gas oil which has been obtained through deep hydrofining by hydrotreating a hydrofining oil having a sulfur content of 5 to 10 wt.ppm and a boiling point range of 150 to 380°C in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst and which has a 90% running temperature of 200 to 380°C, density at 15°C of 780 to 870 kg/m3, sulfur content of 5 wt.ppm or lower, aromatic content of 10 vol.% or lower, and naphthene content of 30 vol.% or higher. The composition has the following properties: the sulfur content is 5 wt.ppm or lower; the aromatic content is 10 vol.% or lower; the content of bicyclic and higher aromatics is 1 vol.% or lower; the naphthene content is 30 vol.% or higher; the density at 15°C is 820 to 840kg/m3; the 10% running temperature is 250°C or lower; and the 90% running temperature is 320°C or lower.
