Abstract:
[Problem]
To provide a gas pedal depression reaction force control device with an improvement in fuel consumption and the like can be achieved by making it difficult for increased-cylinder control to occur in a variable cylinder engine.
[Solution]
A reaction force control unit (4) calculates the driver's requested output Pd in step S3, and then in step S4 estimates the maximum output Pmx which can be generated by the engine (22) in the current idle cylinder operation. Next, the reaction force control unit (4) calculates the difference between the maximum output Pmx and the requested output Pd as the output difference ΔP in step S5, and then in step S6 determines whether the output difference ΔP has attained a prescribed reaction force start threshold value Pα. When the determination is Yes, in step S7 the reaction force control unit (4) estimates the number of added cylinders N on the basis of the output difference ΔP and the current idle cylinder operating state. Next, in step S8 the reaction force control unit (4) sets a target reaction force Frt on the basis of the output difference ΔP and the number of added cylinders N, and outputs driving current to a reaction force actuator (3) in step S9.
