Abstract:

A gas-permeable and waterproof nonwoven fabric comprising a resin composition film containing a specified amount of fillers based on a thermoplastic resin and nonwoven fabric, in which fine pores are formed in at least the resin composition by calendering, and a process for producing the same are disclosed. This fabric has excellent gas permeability and waterproofness, can be produced inexpensively under convenient working conditions using simple equipment, has excellent mechanical strengths and excellent hand, and is useful also for disposables.
