Abstract:
This gas sensor is characterized by: having a gas sensor element, a housing that accommodates the gas sensor element and that has an opening through which a gas to be detected can be introduced, and a permeable gas filter that covers the opening; the gas filter having a gas filter material and a heating means for heating the gas filter material; and the heating means heating the gas filter material on both a region facing the outside of the housing and a region facing the inside of the housing.
