Title:
GAS SENSOR AND GAS SENSOR ARRAY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/002944
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a gas sensor capable of operation at room temperature and repeated use, the gas sensor exhibiting sufficiently high sensitivity. In this gas sensor, a semiconductor nanowire (4) is arranged between counter electrodes (2, 3), and in a state in which the semiconductor nanowire (4) can be illuminated with light, the change in current associated with adsorption of gas onto the semiconductor nanowire is measured, the change in current being observed in the photocurrent produced when the semiconductor nanowire (4) is illuminated with light while a voltage is being applied to the counter electrodes (2, 3).
