Title:
GAS SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/008808
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a gas sensor in which it is possible to suppress changes in the NO2/NO ratio caused by wiring of a sensor element. The present invention is a gas sensor for measuring the NOx concentration included in a gas to be measured. The gas sensor comprises a catalyst unit that converts NO to NO2, and a sensor element that senses the NO2. The sensor element has a substrate, a plurality of measurement cells and a plurality of terminals disposed on a surface of the substrate, a plurality of wirings that are configured from a metal and that connect the plurality of measurement cells and the plurality of terminals in series, and a wiring cover layer that covers at least part of the surfaces of the plurality of wirings. Each of the plurality of measurement cells has a solid electrolyte layer, a sensing electrode that is disposed on the solid electrolyte either directly or with a metal layer interposed therebetween and that has a metal oxide as a main component, and a reference electrode that is configured from a metal and is disposed overlapping the solid electrolyte while being set apart from the sensing electrode. The wiring cover layer has lower activity with respect to NOx than the plurality of wirings.
