Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a gas separation membrane containing a novel sulfonated polyimide and having excellent gas separation performance. The gas separation membrane includes a sulfonated polyimide represented by general formula (1). (In the formula, Ar is an aryl group, X is greater than 0 and no more than 1, and M+ is a H+ or a metal cation.)
