Title:
GAS SEPARATION SYSTEM AND GAS SEPARATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/044992
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a gas separation system that can keep compressor power consumption energy low by keeping the amount of return gas to a minimum and separate a gas mixture at a high level of purification. The invention has a first separation membrane module, a second separation membrane module that is connected to the first separation membrane module with non-permeable gas from the first separation membrane module serving as supply gas, a third separation membrane module that is connected to the first separation membrane module with permeable gas from the first separation module serving as supply gas, and a compressor that is provided in the piping connected to a supply opening for the first separation membrane module. Permeable gas from the second separation membrane module is supplied to the third separation membrane module; the non-permeable gas from the third separation membrane module is pressurized to a designated pressure by the compressor and serves as supply gas for the first separation membrane module; and the separation coefficient for the separation membrane is equal to or greater than the minimum separation coefficient necessary to satisfy the required degree of purification for the gas to be separated.
