Abstract:
Disclosed is a gas shutoff device for appropriately registering the flow rate of a device and appropriately limiting the operating time of the device. The gas shutoff device is comprised of a flow rate detection means (10) for measuring a flow rate; a flow rate calculating means (11) for calculating an instantaneous flow rate value on the basis of the measured value; an average flow rate calculating means (12) for calculating an average flow rate on the basis of the calculated instantaneous flow rate; a flow rate variation judging means (13) for judging whether or not the flow rate varies on the basis of the calculated average flow rate; a flow rate registering means (14) for correcting the increased or decreased amount of flow rate to a registered flow rate; a flow rate difference judging means (16) which calculates the difference in flow rate on the basis of the total value of registered flow rates and the average flow rate, and registers the difference to the flow rate registering means (14) or corrects the difference; and an abnormality judging means (17) for judging the presence or absence of an abnormality on the basis of the registered flow rate and a monitored judging value. The supply of gas is blocked by a shutoff means (19) when the abnormality judging means (17) judges the presence of an abnormality.
