Title:
GAS STOVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/004181
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A gas stove where a flame port of a burner section and a trivet can be lifted and lowered easily, a flat stove top surface is reliably obtained to provide convenience in use, the weight of an object to be heated can be steadily supported at the trivet to secure safety, and the space for a lifting/lowering mechanism can be kept minimum, and which can be easily introduced. A flame port (32) of a burner section (30) and a trivet (50) can be lifted and lowered as a unit. When a gas stove is not in use, the flame port and the trivet are positioned lower than a stove top surface (11). When it is in use, a support member of the trivet (50) lifted to the upper side of the top surface (11) is further expanded to the surrounding area to enable an object to be heated to be placed on it, making only one opening (12) in the stove top surface sufficient. As a result, the stove top surface (11) when the stove is not in use is aesthetically excellent and easy to clean. Further, when the stove is not in use, the trivet (50) is not necessary to remove and it can be handled as a unit together with the burner section (30), and this provides extra convenience.
