Abstract:
With the present invention, during a light load wherein the effective power of a generator (110) as detected using a current sensor (5501) and a voltage sensor (5502) is equal to or less than a prescribed value P1, a controller (600) outputs to a switch (3001) a switch control signal CMD that turns on the switch (3001) in order to supply power to an electric heater (3005) of a desalination system (300). Thus, power is supplied to the electric heater (3005) during light loads and the power consumed by the desalination system (300) can be increased, thereby increasing the amount of electricity generated by the generator (110) and reducing the range of fluctuation of the generated power. Therefore, a gas turbine (123) operates such that the exhaust gas temperature is equal to or greater than a prescribed temperature, thereby preventing the exhaust gas temperature from falling below the prescribed temperature. Accordingly, the generation of a large amount of thermal stress on an exhaust gas conduit (10), a waste heat recovery boiler (200), and the like can be prevented even when the energy demand fluctuates, and a reduction in the machine service life and mechanical damage can be prevented, and a gas turbine electricity generation system (1000) can operate in a stable manner.
