Claims:
I claim,

1. Fuel saving gas turbine engine comprising water injection system.

2. Fuel saving gas turbine engine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the engine comprises:

(a) An outer body made of metal, axel fitted in centre of body, inlet made available for sucking the air inside combustion chamber, compressor fitted on front end of axel, turbine fitted on rear end of axel.

(b) Fuel injectors fitted after compressor at front of combustion cl-t&mfeer. combustion chamber almost at centre of gas turbine engine.

(c) One pair of water injectors fitted in combustion chamber near turbine.

(d) Fuel injectors, water injectors and gas exhaust.

3. Fuel saving gas turbine engine produces power by burning fuel in a combustion chamber follows the mechanism as the steps below

(a) Gas turbine engine starts to rotate compressor to suck air through inlet.

(b) Then air compressed by compressor and compressed air flows to the combustion chamber.

(c) Air is mixed with fuel sprayed from fuel injectors.

(d) Mixer of fuel and air is ignited.

(e) Fuel burns in combustion chamber and releases large amount of heat and gas.

(f) As fuel burns it converts in to hot gas and rapidly expands.

(g) In limited space of combustion chamber expanded gas creates high pressure, (h) Pressurised gas rushes towards exhaust to escape passing through blades of turbines that is fixed on excel, (i) Exhausting pressurized gas passing through blades of turbine spin and generate power in mechanical energy, (j) Water injection through water injector on hot gas in combustion chamber in very tiny droplets that convert in to steam.

4. Fuel saving gas turbine engine as claimed in claim 1 and 3, wherein water droplet absorb some heat in combustion chamber to convert in to steam

5. Fuel saving gas turbine engine as- claimed in claim 1 and 3, wherein the engine generates power in mechanical energy.

6. Fuel saving gas turbine engine as claimed in claim 1, 3 and 5, wherein the energy is utilized for any purpose like electric generation, machine boat, industries and to run other machines.

7. Fuel saving gas turbine engine comprising water injection system as described in the foregoing description and drawing.

Description:

GAS TURBINE ENGINE COMPRISING WATER INJECTION SYSTEM

The next object of the present invention is to get required power at minimum fuel consumption.

The next object of the present invention is to prevent gas turbine engine over heating.

Summary of the invention

The present invention related to fuel saving gas turbine engine comprising water injection system. This engine provides higher fuel efficiency for power generation.

Detailed description of the figure

The cross section of gas turbine engine as shown in figure 1 comprises outer body (1) is made of metal that covers the gas turbine engine. Axel (7) is fitted in centre of body (1). Inlet (9) is made available for sucking the air inside combustion chamber (6). Compressor (2) are fitted on front end of axel (7). Turbine (5) is fitted on rear end of axel (7). Fuel injectors (3) are fitted after compressor at front of combustion chamber (6). Combustion chamber (6) is almost at centre of gas turbine engine. One pair of water injectors (4) are fitted in combustion chamber near turbine (5). Fuel spray (10) is sprayed from fuel injectors (3) and water spray (11) is sprayed from water injectors (4). Hot gas exhaust (8) escape from exhaust (12).

Detailed description of the invention

The present invention relates to save energy and up gradation of fuel efficiency to minimize pollution and global warming.

Power- generation in gas turbine engine is produced by burning of fuel in a combustion chamber (6). As gas turbine engine starts to rotate compressor (2) to suck air through inlet (9). Then air compressed by compressor (2) and compressed air flows to the combustion chamber (6). Air is mixed with fuel (10) sprayed from fuel injectors (3). Mixer of fuel and air is ignited. Fuel bums in combustion chamber (6) combustion released large amount of heat. As fuel burns it converts in to hot gas and rapidly expand. In limited space of combustion chamber expanded gas creates high pressure. Pressurised gas rushes towards exhaust (12) to escape passing through blades of turbines (5) that is fixed on excel (7). Turbine blades spine like fan. Compressors (2) are connected on same excel (7), so as turbine turn compressor also turns. Exhausting pressurized gas passing through blades of turbine spin and generate power in mechanical energy that can utilize to any purpose like electric generation or to run other machines. Water injection is arranged through water injector (.4) on hot gas in combustion chamber. Water sprayed in very tiny droplets that convert in to steam.

Water droplet absorb some heat in combustion chamber to convert in to steam it causes some temperature and pressure of hot gas decreases but steam generation create additional pressure in combustion chamber. Over pressure can not utilize to generate require power. So minimized fuel spray and water spray combination creates required pressure. The present invention is to create require pressure in combustion chamber by minimized fuel consumption. If water injection system does not operate the fuel consumption will be more.

Conventional gas turbine engine exhaust very hot gas that contains huge heat energy that is considered energy loss. The present invention of gas turbine with water injection system decreases temperature in combustion chamber. That is why exhausting gas temperature will be lower than conventional gas turbine engine. Thermal energy wasted through hot gas exhaust in conventional gas turbine engine has been trapped in combustion chamber before it exhaust in present invention of gas turbine engine this mechanism prevent energy loss through exhaust

This is explanation how gas turbine engine develop power

In combustion chamber fuel converts in to hot gas that creates high pressure and temperature. Pressurized gas then rushes towards turbine blade and to escape through exhaust nozzle. Exhausting hot gas have huge unused heat energy, it is considered as energy loos. This causes over fuel consumption and lower fuel efficiency. The present invention arranges water injection system to trap thermal energy of exhausting gas and to convert in to mechanical energy.

Thus the present invention prevents heat loss of exhausting hot gas through exhaust of gas turbine engine.
