Abstract:
In a gas-water separator, a swirl vane (52) is provided within a riser (51), and a
downcomer barrel (53) is provided on the outer side of the riser (51) to define an
annular downcomer space (54). A deck plate (55) is provided above the riser (51)
and the downcomer barrel (53) while providing a predetermined space to form an
orifice (56) and a vent (57). The opening area ratio of a plurality of slits (58a, 58b,
58c, 58d) provided in the riser (51) is set to 30 to 70%. According to the above constitution,
steam and water can be properly separated from each other, and the separated steam
is reliably discharged upward through an orifice while the separated water can
be reliably lowered through a downcomer space to improve gas-water separating
properties.
