Abstract:
Provided are a gaseous fuel piston engine and an air intake system thereof, comprising an air channel (22), a gaseous fuel channel (24), a cylinder air intake valve (28), and a gaseous fuel intake valve (30); the air channel (22) is used for delivering compressed air; the gaseous fuel channel (24) and the air channel (22) are separate from each other; the gaseous fuel channel (24) is used for delivering compressed gaseous fuel; the air intake valve (28) and the gaseous fuel intake valve (30) are separate from each other; the air intake valve (28) is fluidly connected to the air channel (22) so as to guide compressed air into the cylinder; the gaseous fuel intake valve (30) is fluidly connected to the gaseous fuel channel (24) so as to guide compressed gaseous fuel into the cylinder; thus the guided compressed air and compressed gaseous fuel are mixed inside the cylinder, improving the combustion efficiency of the gaseous fuel.
