Abstract:
This gaseous fuel supply apparatus for a sintering machine, which supplies a gaseous fuel that is diluted to a combustion lower limit concentration or less downstream from an ignition furnace of a downward suction-type sintering machine, comprises: a hood that has a prescribed length and a width that is approximately the same as that of a pallet that moves in a circulating manner, and is erected above a charging layer in such a manner as to be surrounded in every direction; a gaseous fuel supply pipe that is disposed inside the hood in a position above the charging layer, and supplies the gaseous fuel in air inside the hood; a baffle plate that is formed by disposing plate members having a prescribed width inside the hood and above the gaseous fuel supply pipe in a plurality of rows with a predetermined interval therebetween in the width direction of the hood, and alternately disposed in a plurality of steps with a prescribed interval therebetween in the height direction; and a vortex suppression plate in which a plurality of plate members having a prescribed porosity is erected in the width direction at the top of the hood. The abovementioned configuration prevents gaseous fuel supplied from the gaseous fuel supply apparatus from leaking to the outside, regardless of the building structure in which the sintering machine is installed.
