Abstract:

Provided is a gasification device: that uses flammable gas as a transport medium for transporting a powder fuel, which serves as the gasification raw material, by air stream carriage to a gasification furnace; and is capable of safely releasing into the atmosphere flammable gas discharged from a fuel supply hopper. The gasification device, which uses flammable gas as a transport medium for transporting a powder fuel of pulverized coal from a pulverized coal supply hopper (7) to the gasification furnace (11), is capable of safely releasing the flammable gas into the atmosphere because the flammable gas discharged from the pulverized coal supply hopper (7) is incinerated before being released into the atmosphere.
