Abstract:
Provided is a gasification device that thermally decomposes a biomass used as a raw material, partially combusts thermal decomposition products produced by the thermal decomposition, and reduces carbides that remain after the thermal decomposition and the partial combustion. This gasification device is provided with a cylindrical section (14), a raw material supply device (raw material supply unit) (3), a first discharge port (19), and a second discharge port (43). The cylindrical section (14) is disposed in a gasification reactor (2), a base wall of the cylindrical section being disposed in the vicinity of a base wall of the gasification reactor (2), a side wall of the cylindrical section extending upward from the base wall side of the gasification reactor (2), and an upper surface of the cylindrical section being in an open state. The raw material supply device (3) loads the biomass toward the inner side of the cylindrical section (14). The first discharge port (19) can discharge the carbides from the inner side toward the outer side of the cylindrical section (14). The second discharge port (43) can discharge the carbides from the outer side of the cylindrical section (14) in the inside of the gasification reactor (2) toward the outside of the gasification reactor (2).
