Abstract:
A gasification system (1) is provided with: a gasification furnace (2) that generates a pyrolysis gas by heating a substance to be processed which is supplied to the interior of the furnace; a gas reformation furnace (3) that is supplied with the pyrolysis gas from the gasification furnace (2) and that generates a reformed gas by indirectly heating the pyrolysis gas using a heat source fluid and then reforming the pyrolysis gas; and a combustion furnace (51) that causes char recovered by the gasification furnace (2) and/or the gas reformation furnace (3) to combust, and that supplies combustion exhaust gas to the gas reformation furnace (3) as the heat source fluid. As a result thereof, the production efficiency of the reformed gas can be improved by reformation of the pyrolysis gas using the combustion exhaust gas obtained by causing the char to combust.
