Abstract:
Provided is a gasket handling method whereby a gasket body is sucked to a suction jig and separated from a carrier film. This gasket handling method handles a gasket formed by combining a gasket body (20) and a carrier film (30) adhered to the gasket body (20), and the method separates the gasket body (20) from the carrier film (30). A suction jig (40) is used to separate the carrier film (30) and the gasket body (20). The suction jig (40) is provided with a suction surface (43) at a position facing the carrier film (30), and the suction surface (43) has formed therein a suction groove (44) having a shape corresponding to the flat shape of the gasket body (20). The suction groove (44) has formed therein a plurality of suction passages (45) arranged throughout the suction groove (44). The gasket body (20) is sucked to the suction groove (44) by the suction force of the suction passages (45) of the suction jig (40) and separated from the carrier film (30).
