Abstract:
According to the present invention, a metal mesh material (19) formed integrally with an annular base member (18) formed of an inorganic molded item is applied to inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the base member or both end faces in the axial direction of the base member, so that the high sealing performance can be secured even if the clamping pressure of a flange or the like is not raised at the time of mounting, with the result that a pipe connecting portion including the flange can be rendered light in weight.
