Abstract:
The present invention provides a gasket manufacturing method which can improve sealing properties by achieving uniformity of film thickness of a gasket formed on a bead. The present invention is a method, for manufacturing a separator gasket, having a step for discharging a gasket material and a step for curing the gasket material discharged onto a bead 111, said method being characterized in that the bead is such that sites having different widths in a short direction are provided, and a movement speed, of a discharge device relative to a separator body 110, at wide sites in which the width is wider than at narrow sites is slower compared to the movement speed at the narrow sites where the width is narrow.
