Abstract:
This gasket 1 comprises a stacked metallic plate joined body 5 provided with a first metallic layer 5a and a second metallic layer 5b and is provided with: a first flat surface section 6 provided with an exhaust gas introduction hole 6a; a second flat surface section 7 provided with a bolt insertion hole 7a; and a bead 8 provided between the first flat surface section 6 and the second flat surface section 7. The first flat surface section 6 and the second flat surface section 7 are provided with joining sections 6b, 7b, and the first metallic layer 5a and the second metallic layer 5b are joined by the joining sections 6b, 7b. The gasket 1 is configured such that a reduction in surface pressure can be compensated even if the bead collapses, and sealing properties can be maintained even if the gasket 1 is used for a long period of time in a high-temperature environment.
